Solution Architect / London/Remote / £95K - £105k + Bonus + Perks

Role:

My leading client is looking for a Solution Architect, who  will take ownership of defining, developing, and implementing solutions within our Enterprise Architecture. You will collaborate with customers, development, and business groups to guide, advise, and communicate on critical architectural principles. You will research and stay current with new technologies and innovation to help create and identify potential new solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Partnering with Architects and cross-functional technical teams to provide consultancy, leadership, communication and to promote software engineering best-practices
  • Defining and implementing a technology strategy to align with business requirements and to generate new ideas and innovations
  • Monitoring Business Unit system health and design to write proposals to plan the future of our technology architecture
  • Providing architecture and design guidance for reviewing changes, large development projects and technical evaluations of new technology
  • Researching and assessing industry and technology advancements and developments to identify opportunities to advance our technical capabilities
  • Developing comprehensive information security procedures and practices and solutions to ensure we respond to enterprise security issues quickly
  • Leading a cross-functional technical architecture team to identify, research and coordinate resources to effectively troubleshoot and diagnose complex project issues

Requirements:

  • Have expertise in designing and managing Finance/ERP solutions, ideally including Oracle
  • Experience in overseeing a diverse portfolio covering cloud and SaaS based applications
  • Understanding of large multinational enterprises and their associated back-office business processes and data including Sales, Finance, Marketing and Business Intelligence
  • Experience in supporting business simplification and cost optimisation initiatives
  • Experience in designing and overseeing internal shared service capabilities, establishing strong internal partnerships to achieve a common goal
  • Have experience working with cloud-based data intelligence platforms
  • Demonstrate excellent written, verbal and presentation skills including communicating complex technical content to a range of audiences
  • Enjoy collaborating and leading teams to design a strategy to solve problems and implement innovative solutions
  • Have a natural ability to engage, influence and build relationships with stakeholders, teams, and vendors across our business
