Position Summary:

As a part of our clients Device Management Professional Services team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality implementation, integration, and support services to our clients. You will work closely with our customers to understand their business requirements, configure our software solutions to meet their needs, and ensure a seamless deployment process. Your technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and customer-centric approach will be key to driving client satisfaction and success.

 

Our clients device management solutions provide end-to-end control and optimization for both mobile devices and home broadband equipment, ensuring seamless connectivity and enhanced user experiences across diverse environments. We support the management of consumer phones (LTE/5G) and smart home devices using industry- standard protocols, enabling service providers to gain deep insights into network-activated devices.

As a Software Deployment Engineer, you will play a critical role in the deployment, integration, and optimization of our device management platform. You will ensure the seamless installation and configuration of software solutions that provide end-to-end control for mobile devices and home broadband equipment. Your work will directly contribute to the enhanced user experience across diverse environments by enabling service providers to effectively manage and optimize network-activated devices, including consumer phones (LTE/5G) and smart home devices.

 

Main Responsibility Areas:

  • Lead implementation and deployment of products for new and existing clients. Ensure solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes, requirements, and objectives. Provide expert advice and best practices to optimize the use of our software solutions.
  • Design, develop, and implement integration solutions to connect our software with clients’ existing system and applications. Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability.
  • Provide high-level technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients. Address and resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Conduct training sessions for clients to ensure they are proficient in using our software. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user guides and technical manuals.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deliverables are met within the agreed timelines and budgets. Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders effectively.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our products, services, and processes.
  • Looking for candidates with strong expertise in deploying and configuring Linux OS environments, including hands-on experience with system setup, automation, and optimization for production use.

 

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Expertise in network integration, along with knowledge of cloud-based integration solutions and technologies. Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in systems integration is also required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences clearly and concisely.
  • Seeking candidates with strong English language skills, both written and spoken, for clear communication and effective collaboration.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients. A proactive and client-centric approach to service delivery.
  • Comfortable working with and understanding complex business solutions.

Preferred Technical Experience:

  • Proficiency in software implementation, system integration, and technical support, with a proven ability to handle complex technical challenges.
  • Familiarity with Linux shell scripting, along with experience working with APIs and data integration tools.
  • Experience with Linux system operations, including the installation, configuration, and administration of Linux-based systems.
  • Understanding of IP networking, including knowledge of switching, routing, and firewall concepts.
  • Experience with HP hardware, particularly in managing and maintaining HP servers and related infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of storage systems, including the configuration and administration of databases such as Oracle and MariaDB.
  • Understanding of geo-redundant software and database solutions, with an emphasis on ensuring high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.
  • Cloud computing experience, including hands-on experience with platforms like OpenStack, AWS, and Kubernetes. This includes installation, configuration, and management of cloud environments.
  • Proficiency in working with containers, including the installation, configuration, and administration of containerized applications.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies, like VMWare and KVM, including installation and configuration.
  • Familiarity with application and web servers, particularly Weblogic, JBoss and Apache, including expertise in their installation and configuration.
  • Familiarity with automation and orchestration tools such as Puppet and Helm.

 

Work Experience Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in professional services, technical consulting, or similar role within the software industry.
  • Proven experience managing projects from inception to completion. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with specific mobile network support systems (e.g., OSS/BSS systems) is highly desirable.
